A Bit About Kanisha
Kanisha Feliciano (she/her) made her Broadway debut as “Ann” in Jame Lapine and Tom Kitt’s Flying Over Sunset at Lincoln Center. Since then, she has joined the Broadway cast of Phantom of the Opera as a “Christine Daee” understudy, and performed as “Lily” in Broadway Sacramento’s production of Secret Garden.
Kanisha went to Rice University and studied with Nova Thomas while pursuing an Artist Diploma in Opera Performance. Kanisha has both a MM and BM in Vocal performance from the University of Houston and Westminster Choir College respectively. Kanisha Feliciano is represented by Penny Luedtke at the Luedtke Agency, LLC.
Intimately familiar with the voice, Kanisha taught voice at Galena Park High School and established her own private studio during the Pandemic with students ranging from novice to professional singers looking to cross over to other musical genres.
Previously, Kanisha has performed the roles of Blonde in Mozart’s Abduction of the Seraglio, Amy in Adamo’s Little Women with Opera in the Ozarks. At the Moores School of Music, she has performed Kitty Packard in Bolcom’s Dinner at Eight, Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, and Baby Doe in Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe.
In her free time, Kanisha enjoys roller skating, dancing salsa y bachata, playing the guitar, knitting, and spending time with her beloved dog Oliver.
